Foundations is a partnership between Gift, a Brand Creative Director based in Taipei, and Adam, a Digital Growth Architect based in the U.S. Together, we bridge the gap between human-led brand resonance and high-performance digital systems. We believe that growth stalls without a clear structure, so we help organizations strip away the noise to build simple, powerful foundations that support sustained, long-term value.


Taiwan based builds.
I’ve been working in design my whole life. I got my first Mac when I was 16 years old, and I would create mountains of interesting, yet awful, designs. However, that first Mac helped me discover what I wanted to be good at.
While still in high school, I was invited to join an accelerated program focusing on communications and graphic design. After graduation, I studied graphic design, fashion merchandising, and computer science at Central Michigan University. There, I became involved with the fashion association, helping them rename and rebrand their fashion show, Threads—a name it still carries today.
I began my adult career as an Art Director at ARS Advertising in the United States, thanks in large part to a young Creative Director who saw potential in me and provided a massive opportunity. During that time, I led creative for Gladiator GarageWorks (a Whirlpool brand) and worked on branding and advertising for Whirlpool Corporation, Maytag, and Lowe’s. I also led the rebranding of Amana and was promoted to Creative Director. These roles gave me a deep understanding of how large-scale, established brands maintain their market presence. I was also honored to learn from many extremely talented people who helped guide and expand my capabilities during this time.
After moving to Taipei in 2010, my perspective continued to expand through work with premier consultancies like DDG. Engaging with projects for Giant Bicycles, Louisa Coffee, Cooler Master, and CTCI, I saw a recurring gap in the market. I realized that medium-sized brands needed the same strategic standards as a global agency, but without the layers of bureaucracy that often dilute creative excellence while adding unnecessary complexity. I became convinced that the sophisticated techniques of the world’s largest studios could be distilled to their essence and delivered with more agility.
Today, my work is centered on Human Intelligence and the power of genuine, human-to-human collaboration. In an era often distracted by automated shortcuts and superficial trends, I choose to focus on the intuitive passion that comes from deep experience and a sharp, gut-level understanding of brand resonance. I work exclusively with partners who value substance over flash and who understand that a brand’s strength comes from a simple, powerful foundation.
I don’t just create designs; I provide the foundational clarity necessary for a business to grow. By stripping away the noise, we find the core of your brand and build it into something that is not only visually effective but fundamentally transformative.

U.S. based growth.
I’ve spent my career building digital systems that help brands grow with intention. Long before “digital marketing” became a catch-all term, I was drawn to the mechanics behind how brands communicate, how users behave, and how technology quietly shapes decisions.
My work began with a focus on communication and media studies, where I developed a strong foundation in messaging, structure, and audience behavior. From there, I moved quickly into applied roles, where ideas weren’t theoretical, but measured, deployed, tested, and improved.
Over the years, I’ve worked across ecommerce, B2B, and brand-driven organizations, holding roles that spanned digital marketing, analytics, UX, content systems, and multimedia production. I’ve led initiatives that required both creative judgment and technical precision, building platforms, refining funnels, launching campaigns, and creating assets that serve a purpose beyond aesthetics.
A consistent theme emerged in that work: many organizations invest heavily in tactics, but underinvest in foundations. Tools change, platforms evolve, and trends come and go, but without clear structure, disciplined strategy, and aligned execution, growth stalls.
Today, I work as a digital marketing and multimedia consultant focused on clarity, efficiency, and long-term value. I help teams simplify their digital ecosystems, align their messaging with real business goals, and build systems that scale without unnecessary complexity.
My approach is analytical, grounded, and collaborative, bridging strategy and execution rather than treating them as separate disciplines.
I’m not interested in chasing trends or surface-level optimization. My role is to help organizations understand what matters, remove what doesn’t, and create digital foundations that support sustained growth.
